Archie Rose x Horisumi - Spring is the third release in a series of four rare gins made in collaboration with acclaimed tattoo artist Kian Forreal (Horisumi), each inspired by a different Japanese season. This release celebrates spring, the most fragrant of the Japanese seasons. The hand-illustrated label depicts the hare, or ‘usagi’, a symbol of fertility in Japan and a trusted talisman against bad luck. He sits observing a bloom of vivid cherry blossom or ‘sakura’, dancing in the spring breeze. Inspired by Horisumi’s label artwork, Archie Rose x Horisumi - Spring’s distillates include chrysanthemum offering notes of white musk, Australian-grown yuzu leaf with its unique herbaceous and citric accents and the subtle sweetness of fresh red shiso. Archie Rose x Horisumi - Spring is bold but nuanced, beginning sweet on the palate and building in intensity to a distinctly floral finish.
