In crafting our gins we wanted to capture the essence of the Bushveld in a way that reflects its various aspects at their most sublime. From the immutability of of the landscape to the vibrancy of the life that lives upon it, we wanted to create a range of gins that captures and celebrates that hard-to-define experience that keeps us coming back to the wilds of Africa time and time again. Using only the finest ingredients and hand-picked, wild-growing African botanicals, we have created some of the most stunning, unique and delicious gins in the world. Marula has a hard-to-pin-down flavour that combines a clear tangy edge with a rich almost sweet citrus. The langorous scent of Marula is utterly distinctive and the gin delivers a luscious Marula bouquet that primes the palate for the soft tang that floods the mouth. Think passion fruit mingled with lime. Clear Juniper creates the backbone, and floral depth is provided by Bushveld Wild Pear, Dombeya rontundifolia, flowers from Acacia caffra the Bushveld's delightful Sweet-thorn Acacia, and Buddleja salvifolia.
