Fearing that Finnish would vanish with the European influence of the time, his work ‘Kalevala’ is a monumental recording of culture, prose and song in the true tongue of the Finnish language. Inspired by his love and devotion to Finland and its vast natural landscape, Kalevala Gin comes from the very earth Lönnrot traversed.
