Distilled with 13 fine botanicals hand sourced from around the world, including Macedonian juniper, English coriander seed and fresh citrus from historical trading routes once served by the famous Salcombe fruit schooners, Salcombe ‘Start Point’ Gin is exceptionally smooth with layers of complexity. On the nose, a harmonious balance of fresh citrus and piney juniper with warm spicy notes from cinnamon and coriander seed. Subtle floral notes comes through from the camomile flowers. Rich and full in the mouth with juniper and fresh ruby red grapefruit on the fore followed by layers of warming citrus spice from English coriander seed and cubeb. Subtle savoury tones from bay leaf, balanced by a touch of sweetness from liquorice root. The finish is lingering and balanced with continued warm spice notes from cardamom and a subtle peppery note from the cubeb, leaving you eager for the next sip.
