Distillery Strength versions of Strathearn gin are designed to accentuate the flavour and are ideal for cocktails because of the higher 60.5 % ABV. As it name suggests, this latest gin from Strathearn is strongly juniper lead, and with the added alcohol, even more intense. Amazingly smooth, sweet to start and then the drink switches to a light peppery mouthfeel which is followed by a light sherbet finish as the citrus develops. The balance is achieved by the use of two distillations instead of the normal one.
