For Batch 3, Ableforth’s Bathtub Gin was aged in a cask that was previously used to age heavily-peated Ardbeg Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Nose: Crisp juniper, salted caramel, bitter peels and a subtle touch of seashell. Taste: Soft and creamy at first, though waves of smoke and spicy clove growing on the mid-palate. Finish: Spice continues, followed by salty black liquorice and juicy raisins.
