This ultra-small batch of Ableforth's famous Bathtub Gin is extra special: it was aged in a Oloroso Sherry cask that also previously held Bruichladdich Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Nose: Stone fruit, raspberry, and fresh hay. Taste: Rich and oily in texture, with notes of honeyed heather and a light touch of smoke. Baked pear with a brown-sugar glaze. Finish: Crisp black pepper, a light sweetness, and a faint, but lingering hint of peat smoke.
