Gin description
The strange looking word "Tschin" ist the name of a unique Gin from Switzerland. It is distilled in the Swiss Frick valley, which is located close to the German-Swiss border. The region is known for its mild climate and sunny days. Therefore it is no surprise, that a lot of fruit farmers are present in the area. Mr. Ruedi Kaeser, the distiller of Tschin, takes advantage of this local characteristic and uses cherry blossoms as a botanical for his Gin. He combines it with locally grown juniper and sweet woodruff. The result is a very floral and smooth Gin. This general impression of Tschin is supported by its lower alcoholic volume of 40%. An eyecatcher is as well the packaging of Tschin. Every bottle is handcorked and waxed. The label is individually painted.
