Gin description

There is a great deal of Guernsey in Wheadon’s Gin. The Wheadon family have been involved in the production and distribution of fine alcohol on Guernsey for over a hundred years and it is this heritage, combined with our island’s maritime environment, that is the inspiration behind Wheadon’s Gin. With an immediate fragrance of citrus from the mandarin limes followed by a depth of flavour and floral note of hibiscus and combined with 11 other botanicals, this is an expression that is much more versatile across drinks, whether it be a cocktail or gin and tonic. Our recommendation for the tonic pairing is Fever Tree’s Aromatic Tonic, and garnished with a slice of lime, or for a fruity note, try a slice of strawberry. Our mandarin lime and hibiscus expression also makes an excellent negroni.
