From Grandma Agnes' herb garden into the bottle. The name Agnes' Green stands for the idea, the way and the content. In search of the perfect recipe for our gin, the Penth distillery was the starting point and inspiration. In it we found the ingredients and flavors that make our gin so unique. It only seems to us that this grandma is dedicated to Agnes and the treasure she has been cultivating over decades. Our gin is produced by means of a multi-stage distillation process in small fillings of approx. 100 liters. In a first step, juniper is macerated together with a bouquet of different herbs and distilled. Subsequently, the distillate obtained is distilled by means of steam distillation over an aromatic basket with further herbs. The herbs mainly come from the in-house garden, from Grandma Agnes' Green, such as sage, rosemary, lemon mellis and lavender. This formula and the long-term experience of the distillator master Franz Penth give the gin its unique taste. In the heart of the Saarland distilled in the distillery Penth. From family tradition, distillery master Franz Penth has been distributing the distillery for more than 35 years.
