Two gin lovers from the Basel region have created their own gin: Thanks to the use of typical spices from traditional Basel cuisine, the Basilisk Dry Gin gets a typical Basler note. Tobias Gerschwiler and Patrick Lauber are guild brothers at the Guild to Rebleuten in Basel and have been helping the guild winemakers to produce wine for years. They are both big gin lovers. The idea of ​​making your own gin had long been in the minds of the two. After a lot of fiddling and burning, they have now launched their own gin, the Basilisk Dry Gin, in collaboration with the distillery Zeltner Dornach. It is produced from organic ingredients using the typical dry gin method in small batches. In addition to spices from traditional Basel cuisine, the extremely popular hibiscus flower in Basel lends a floral touch. The Handcraft Basilisk Dry Gin is with its 44% vol. suitable for purist gin lovers as well as for gin and tonic connoisseurs.
