Gin description
In the old town of Lisbon, people like to drink a ginja, also called ginjinha, a dark red sour cherry liqueur in small standing bars in the evening. For Beijinho do Sul, Portuguese for “kiss of the south”, we macerated and carefully distilled sour cherries from the early summer of 2018 from the Black Forest and the Altes Land. We have married this sour cherry spirit with a particularly spicy gin distillate to make Beijinho do Sul.
