Belfast 1912 Cask Gin has been the focus of Ian Killen since 1994, with the discovery of a secret gin recipe pre-dating 16th April 1912. The original Belfast 1912 cask gin was created and distilled by Avoniel Distillery 1882-1929 and was located on the Ravenhill Road, Belfast. Together with Jim O’Neill, Ian Killen formed Avoniel Distillers Limited and Launched the New Belfast 1912 Gin in December 2016. It is a supremely smooth and intense gin. A botanic, triple distilled malted and unmalted multi grain spirit, infused with carefully sourced botanicals. A complex and singularly generous delivery, rested in cask, celebrating Belfast's golden propeller age of luxury engineering and style.
