Gin description

Exeter's own premium gin in small batches and produced in a traditional copper still. This robust yet smooth gin celebrates Exeter's Roman heritage and occupation between circa AD55 and AD380, "ISCA Dumnoniorum' describing flowing water in reference to the the River Exe. Using ancient botanicals favoured by the Romans such as tarragon, basil, cardamom, cinnamon & marigold combined with 11 other botanicals. The result is an outstanding gin experience. 16 botanicals have been carefully selected by our distillers. Roman influence is brought in by the subtle tones of Tarragon, Basil, Cardamom and Marigold, with a faint peppery finish from Black and Pink Peppercorns. Exeter gin also uses high quality Juniper allowing punchy Juniper notes to come through into the gin balancing with the other 16 botanicals, resulting in an exceptionally smooth and desirable gin. The unique quality and blend of botanicals chosen give Exeter Gin it's unique robust and rich flavours. Using pure Devon spring water, plenty of deep Juniper flavour on first taste, with a citrus toned finish from dried Valencia Oranges & Grapefruit peel. These flavours combine beautifully with English Coriander, Angelica Root, Allspice, Cubeb & Goji Berries and Cinnamon from the botanicals to give Exeter Gin it's unique notes and tones.
