Indian spices meet lemon and raspberry in this soft and supple gin that combines 19 different botanicals into the smoothest gin yet in the label’s short history. St. George distiller Dave Smith worked with K&L spirits buyer David Driscoll to create the ideal gin and tonic gin: packed with enough aromatics to handle the tonic, but with accents of fresh fruit and coriander to add an extra dash of intrigue. The mouthfeel is soft and round, creating an incredibly delicate texture on the palate that forces you to consider whether you even need ice or tonic water, and instead might just want to drink straight from the bottle. Fans of the Monkey 47 will enjoy the subtle red fruits on the entry, but fans of complexity and good gin will revel in the complexity that, in our opinion, rivals some of the world's great whiskies.
