Ginetical The Wooded Edition is a timber mounted gin. As a basis The Royal Edition was used. The alcohol content was increased to 43% full, and a few small changes in the composition of the botanicals were made. In The Wooded Edition plays myrtle (Myrica gale) a very important role. These aromatic fragrant shrub occurs naturally in “Bosland” (Region Lommel Hechtel - Limburg, Belgium). The color is deep amber. In the nose one discovers a soft touch of caramel, backed by a tangy spiciness of pepper and pine. A honingtoetsje close it all off nicely. Mouth filling, tingling, playful, spicy but very soft and round with a warming alcohol. The aftertaste remains long reverberate and makes you long for the next sip.
