Hernö Sipping Gin, cask matured Hernö Gin aged in casks used before to refine other goodies, is a unique project to strengthen the tourism in our region and attract visitors to our little corner of the world. Clear and light straw in color, yet a heavy player with strength, dark in taste. Meet Smokin’ hot Hernö Sipping Gin #1.3 ex Ardbeg cask. Sweet fruit aroma, a floral touch and peat as well as a hint of espresso. Underlying toffee and vanilla yet fresh citrus and a green pine. Juniper upfront in the mouth, accompanied by heavy peat and sweet toffee and pear. Peppery and gives off a little heat. A soft creamy texture. Long lingering smoke in the finish. It flourishes into juniper and cassia and fruity notes. A dry long salty finish.
