In the Josef Gin Blue Edition, the blue butterfly blossom (Clitoria Ternatea), a very special ingredient, meets Bavarian and classic botanicals such as hay blossoms, hop umbels, elderberries and juniper berries, lemon and orange peel. A blue gin is created in a 100% natural way, which as a gin and tonic surprises with a play of colors. Josef Gin pays homage to Josef Lantenhammer, the founder of the Bavarian distillery Lantenhammer. In 1928 he first distilled a "juniper spirit" for his fellow miners in the mining town of Hausham, which was highly valued for its ethereal effect. Two generations later, the distillers from Lantenhammer create the most modern gin variations based on the old recipes from Josef Lantenhammer. The miners would have been delighted with it.
