Maiden Maidstone Gin Distillery Edition

Gin description

This is the same recipe as our delicious London Dry listed above but is presented in an exquisite glass decanter and is only available on collection from the distillery - perfect for an extra special gift. It is gift wrapped in a black box with silver ribbons. The gin is fresh and bright, bursting with flavour, slightly sweeter than some London Dry’s. No sugar is added after distillation so this gin remains a London Dry in style, the sweetness comes directly from the sweet botanicals which are added to the still, namely marshmallow root and meadowsweet. This sweetness, along with zingy cardamom and coriander and the bright, piny flavours of juniper give our gin a lovely complex, yet rounded, flavour. Pure Kentish water, filtered through the North Kent Downs, is used to dilute our gin down to bottling strength, 42% abv - the same strength as the original Maidstone Gin from the 1790s.
