Maredsous Abbey is located in the heart of the Molignée Valley, at the gateway to the Belgian Ardennes. The generous and unspoiled nature of this valley, rich in natural springs, provides an ideal environment for the wild flora and delicate plants that go into the distillery's spirits. Maredsous Aéquatis is an organic gin at 40% ABV, made from an infusion of buds and leaves of trees with regulating and digestive properties in a distillate of certified organic grains, composed of barley, rye, and wheat. Its composition notably includes fir buds, ash leaves, hawthorn buds, and hazel leaves. On the palate, it develops a woody and fruity profile, with a smooth, well-balanced, lightly woody, and pleasantly fruity finish.
