Maredsous Abbey is located in the heart of the Molignée Valley, at the gateway to the Belgian Ardennes. The generous and unspoiled nature of this valley, rich in natural springs, provides an ideal environment for the wild flora and delicate plants that go into the distillery's spirits. Maredsous Valéo is an organic gin at 40% ABV, crafted from an infusion of wildflowers with soothing and relaxing properties in a distillate of certified organic grains, including barley, rye, and wheat. Its composition includes poppy, woodruff, St. John's wort, mallow, and primrose. On the palate, it develops a smooth and mellow profile, marked by delicate floral aromas, with a supple mouthfeel and a finish where the mallow and poppy are more prominent.
