Procera gin was founded with a dream to bring the very best of Africa to the world. Our gin is proudly distilled in Nairobi, Kenya, at 1638 metres above sea level. It’s the world’s first gin to use Juniperus Procera, which we harvest just 70 kilometres from our distillery. Procera captures the terroir of our continent in every sip. More than any ingredient, a gin’s juniper defines its backbone of character and reveals the terroir of its origins. We harvest our berries at the end of the short rains with the local community who live near the highland forest of Kijabe at 2200 metres. These equatorial, high altitude, sun-drenched junipers are what create the distinctive nutty and earthy flavours of Procera. Procera Red Dot Gin has been designed for cocktails that require a confident profile. It is a magically spicy and savoury African Terroir Gin, using five African peppers and native juniper.
