The idea of developing a very special Gin came to us during a convivial evening on the step stairs in front of the Düsseldorf castle tower, the landmark of the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. For a long time we had longed for a Gin, which reminds us of the origin and the purity of the centuries old Gin history. It took us 14 month from the idea creation to going live. So what it special about R[h]eingin? R[h]eingin is a combination of high quality juniper berries, a refined manufacturing process and the unconditional love to the Rhine metropolis Düsseldorf. This homeland affinity is reflected not only in the brand name, but also in our puristic design of our noble Gin bottle, which unmistakably bears the coordinates of the Düsseldorf castle tower. The gin is based on a special selection of different levels of organic juniper, giving it a clear and non-irritating aroma & flavour – "r[h]ein" as the name partially indicates, which is German for "pure". R[h]eingin comes at 46% ABV, it is multi-layered giving it a very comfortable and soft nose. It's a handcrafted dry gin, produced in small batches in a family run distillery closed to Düsseldorf.
