Gin description

The Schmittmann family founded their distillery in Niederkassel am Rhein in 1818. Our premium quality gin is named accordingly. The single origin fine distillate, based on a grain spirit, develops its distinctive taste by being aged one year in oak barrels, which are over 70 years old. It gets its silky smaath character from the addition of only fresh ingredients like juniper berries, citrus zest and other herbs and spices. Water from our very own well lends a harmonious aroma to the recipe and brings the alcohol content to 40 percent by volume.
