Eggcentric is a limited edition release from Tappers, reflecting the Great British qualities of eccentricity and humour, with a nod to the tradition (since 1873) of gifting chocolate eggs in celebration of Eastertime. Eggcentric is a compound gin independently produced in small batches by hand from start to finish in the seaside town of West Kirby, Wirral. The process involves infusing natural botanicals in a premium quality 100% wheat neutral base spirit, to a carefully designed recipe. The aim is to obtain a deep complexity of aromas and a full flavoured body. The resulting spirit has an amber-hue which is retained after delicate filtration so as not to remove any of the intensity of flavour. Eggcentric brings together a luxurious array of cacao nibs, carob pods, cassia, liquorice, black garlic and vanilla to create a deliciously decadent gin with a hint of dark chocolate.
