Gin description
The Trait-Carré refers to the concept of an urban division unique in North America. Located at the time in the center of the Notre-Dame-des-Anges seigneury, the Jesuits created it in 1665 from the concept of a star-shaped distribution of land converging towards a central point. This idea aimed at bringing the inhabitants together in the center of the Trait-Carré, offering them better protection and allowing them to facilitate the pooling of their resources.
