Gin description
Gin Acqueverdi takes its name from the mountain springs of the Val d'Aosta, near the Valdotaine Distillery. These are characterized by the beautiful green-turquoise color given by the minerals contained in the waters, which give the gin its particular taste. In addition to strong minerality, this gin is characterized by distinctive herbal and floral aromatic notes from botanicals harvested in the valley behind the distillery. Among them are the Alpine rose, Malva, pine tree an genepy. The juniper also comes from Val d'Aosta, where it is widely used to flavor food and to prepare teas and liquors. Inspired by the traditional juniper liqueur, the branches of the juniper plant are macerated with the berries. The result is a truly unique gin, full-bodied and perfectly balanced and with a distinct, slightly straw-yellow color.
