Black Tomato Gin is born in the authentic harbor of Bruinisse, a small fisherman village with a long tradition in fishing mussels. The distillery is facing the clear waters of the Oosterschelde which is the biggest National parc of the Netherlands. After dozens of testing and tasting sessions our master distiller Meindert Kampen came up with the best ever artisan distilled Black Tomato Gin; Besides the secret botanicals we use some small drops of fresh salt Oosterschelde water and homegrown great tasting black tomatoes. Our distillery is one of the rare distillers in the Netherlands having its own traditional malt-floor, a stone floor for sprouting of steeped malting-grains. We are proud that we can make traditional organic malt-wine using the best ancient ingredients from our province.
