The Four Marys – companions and ladies-in-waiting to Mary Queen of Scots, have inspired this series of expressions. Talented and loyal, they attended Mary with flair and character. Four new gins matched to the characters of the four Marys. Each recipe has been developed with the help of a select number of super tasters to develop four truly unique gins. Four Marys Subtly Spiced is a distilled gin using allspice, rose petals and apricots alongside juniper and coriander to give a warm, exotic flavour. The addition of black and long peppercorns gives the gin a spicy bite that is warm and exciting. In the nose, warm, exotic spices giving way to the fruity sweetness of the apricots. Hints of Turkish delight give way to warm fruit and spicy pepper. A warm, spicy pepper finish leaving the taste buds tingling.
