Gin description

Hawthorn's uses a recipe that the founders Grandfather created in the Second World War when he was a Commander in the Royal Navy. He smuggled his gin on board to boost morale during the dark battles and to celebrate the successful ones. He died some 7 years ago and we found his recipe in his wartime diary 3 years later and in August 2015 Hawthorn’s was born. Hawthorn's has won Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for the last 3 years in a row (2016, 2017 and 2018) beating the likes of Sipsmith, Hendricks, Tanqueray, Martin Miller's and many more over the years. That's not bad for a super premium craft gin sold at near house gin prices! Our signature serve is as follows: moisten the top of your rocks glass with a lime wedge. Add a sea salt rim. Pour your required strength gin and Indian tonic water and garnish with a bay leaf.
