Gin description

Dreadnought Gin is the second gin in our fleet, a navy strength London dry gin at 57.5%. So-called because a warship's gunpowder could still ignite, even if soaked in the spirit. Our Gin is distilled using an organic, British wheat grain for our base spirit, rather than the more commonly used potato based spirit. This produces a smoother, rich flavour that is not as harsh on the palette, and so allows for more of the delicate essential oils and flavours to excite the senses. A well-balanced juniper led London Dry Gin, with subtle notes of pink grapefruit peel to liven the front of the palate followed by a soft rosemary finish. It's carefully hand distilled in small batches in The New Forest, using a traditional copper pot still.
