After months of planning and researching the best methods to distill small batch gin, we invested in Wendy, our bespoke-made copper column still. We spent months perfecting both our recipe and also our technique to create a unique but contemporary take on a London Dry Gin. When we say this is a small batch gin and we do everything by hand, we really aren’t joking! We hand fill, cap, label and write every bottle, it’s truly a labor of love in every sense of the word. Staying deeply rooted in the north, we set ourselves apart from the crowd through the use of two botanicals in particular : Dandelion and Burdock Root. Not only did we want to pay tribute to a drink which we both grew up loving, we also wanted to add an earthy center to our gin. Along with Dandelion and Burdock Root, Manchester Gin is made up of ten other specially sourced botanicals including seasonal orange and lemon as well as the finest coriander and juniper. Thanks to the use of ground almonds, every mouthful ends with a smooth viscosity that kisses the palate.
