This quintessential fruit, with it's matt indigo colouring, peppers our Kent orchards and hedgerows with beautiful white blossom in April and full ripe fruit late August through to September. Once prepared and bottled the damson liqueur puts it's feet up, gets comfortable and continues to develop and mature in it's new glass house.
