Landor’s innovation agency shows off what it can do by executing a new product, from idea to completion, in ten weeks. NorthandSouth enables brands to create new things, new brands and new experiences. Quickly. The incubation agency dreamed up and developed a limited run of eighty hand blown bottles containing an intriguing gin-tea hybrid, with distilling partners, Distillery Botanica. In ten weeks. From creating the gin, to designing the bottle, branding and even having twelve elderly ladies hand-knit the bottle cosies – Landor and NorthandSouth have now created a ready to market product. We asked our distiller Phillip to create a sipping gin that was both distinctive and delicious. After a month of prototyping and micro-distilling he finally hit upon the modern classic that we finally bottled. If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on it, you’ll notice a dry darjeeling note at the back of the throat cleverly balanced with a sweet Keeman Chinese tea note at the front of the tongue. If not, you’ll just have to take our word for it.
