Traditional sloe gin is a berry-infused liqueur made by steeping sloe berries—a tiny relative of the plum—in gin and adding just a touch of sweetness. In the UK, foraging the wild berries, steeping them in gin, and making the liqueur has been part of rural family tradition for centuries. Our Sloe Gin recipe has been handed down through the Marshall family for generations: we start with our signature gin, which we macerate with sloe berries until the delicious fruit flavor and color have fully released in the gin. This vibrantly-hued liqueur features both bright berry and citrus notes, combining ripe sweetness with fresh acidity.
