The Sylvan Gin is produced by Koval Distillery in Chicago. The Koval Distillery was founded in 2008 by the Austrian-born Robert Birnecker and his wife Sonat. The Koval Distillery became the first newly-founded artisanal distillery in Chicago since the end of Prohibition. The Sylvan Gin So the first new gin since 1933, formerly controlled by Al Capone metropolis.
