Gin description

Hernö Sipping Gin, cask matured Hernö Gin aged in casks used before to refine other goodies, is a unique project to strengthen the tourism in our region and attract visitors to our little corner of the world. For Hernö Sipping Gin #1.2 we wanted to go bold and question boundaries and rules. So we let our classic Hernö Gin mature in a cask previously used by Laphroaig. Peat, pine and oak in the nose, with some peppery notes and hints of saltiness. A bit fruity and citrusy fresh. In the mouth, starting with some classic Hernö characteristics, juniper and floral meadowsweet accompanied with peat. Smooth start and intensifies with some warmth and rich woodiness. Finishing with juniper and a lingering layer of smoke, vanilla and fruits. A dry salty finish.
