Tonic description
The Britvic brand can trace its origins to the ‘The British Vitamin Product Company’, which was registered in 1938. In the aftermath of the economic depression, the company recognised the need for an affordable source of vitamin C, so it started to bottle fruit juices so that they stayed fresh for longer, without the addition of preservatives. The business flourished during the war years, having great appeal to a nation deprived of fruit and fruit juice and in 1947 the Britvic juice brand was launched. In 1972, the company launched a range of Britvic mixers to complement its juice range. Britvic Tonic Water has a very lively citrus scent. In the mouth it's sparkling with a dry and bitter finish. Big bubbles.
