The best of our brewery and distillery comes together in the Gospel Spirits Dutch Gin. Because of our roots lying in in the success of craft beer brewer Jopen, we chose beer or beer related elements as one of the prime ingredients. The earthy Mittelfrüh and parsnip in combination with the spicy grains of paradise results in a well-balanced gin. Gospel Spirits is crafted in small batches in the oldest church of Haarlemmermeer. Master Distiller Freddie Talbot-Ponsonby creates refined distillates from only the best ingredients. The soft and smooth taste is the result of passion and enthusiasm for the craft of distilling. Gospel Gin is a unique dry gin with a herbal distillate of juniper berry, coriander seeds, orange, grapefruit, liquorice and a mix of grains of paradise, parsnip and Mittelfrüh hops. The Mittelfrüh hops give the spirit an extra dimension. On the tongue you taste the earthiness of the parsnip together with the spicy character of the grains of paradise. The result: a dry and earthy palate with a soft, spicy aftertaste.
