Gin description

Hernö High Coast Terroir is a vintage gin distilled once per year with locally picked botanicals. Parts of the 2018 base spirit comes from a malt base from Hernö Gin neighbors Lockeby Brewery. All botanicals are handpicked in the High Coast of Sweden. Crisp, juniper aroma up front and an array of floral notes. An underlying depth from the malt base. Fresh citrusy notes. In the mouth, a floral complexity yet a clear juniper profile. Rowan comes through at the end and gives a freshness. A dry but rich mouthfeel. Elderflower finish and long lasting juniper, a little warmth and peppery notes. Sweetness from the spruce shoots.
