Gin description

Inspired by the rich gin history in The Netherlands Koninklijke Distilleerderij Dirkzwager has perfected the authentic ginrecept by pot-still distillation of small batches. To capture the authentic taste, we got cooperation of the oldest botanical garden in the Netherlands: the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden. The recipe includes juniper, lemon peel, coriander, basil and fig, with the spirits of leaves of tropical plants. The botanical knowledge about the ingredients, the refined formulation and experienced distillers create a unique character with a bright, fresh and complex flavor, with overtones of juniper, prickly pear, basil and coriander. The aftertaste is citrus and cinnamon to taste with a slight hint of vanilla.
