Gin description

Unlike mass-produced factory gins, we do everything by hand. It takes more time and effort, but we believe you can taste it in your very first sip. All juniper and botanicals are infused into a neutral premium spirit, which is a modern interpretation of the bathtub gins that were so common in America a century ago. The base spirit is made of 100% grain. Each batch yields 50 bottles of gin and our process takes 7 days. Our gin has a pure herbal aroma and tastes smooth finished with some subtle tannins of citrus influence. The color itself is slightly golden hue, almost that of a Champagne after adding a tonic, largely owing to the botanical infusion. Mean Louie’s Gin is mainly made with fresh citrus peels & herbs and hand-cracked juniper. By hand-cutting the citrus fruit & herbs, and releasing the essential oils in the juniper berries, we make a more vibrant gin than the distillers who use frozen or dried citrus peels.
