Nut Clitoria Infused Gin

Gin description

Maître Albert Rovira of the well-known restaurant Santa Pau in Sant Pol de Mar (Barcelona), infuses Nut London Dry Gin with clitoria flower (butterfly pea flower) to give a sweet, floral and slightly bitter touch to the gin, with a magical midnight blue colour that bruises when combined with tonic or citrus mixers. The clitoria termatea (butterfly pea) flower has been commonly used in Asia since ancient times to make infusions and add colour to foods. A source of antioxidants, it also has soothing effects and is associated with stress relief. Elegant, intense, deep floral and sweet pea aromas, with a full bodied taste, insinuating touch of sweetness, balanced with sweet and bitter vegetable notes coming from the natural flower.
