Gin description

Between the Rhine bend at Tössegg and the northern outskirts of the city of Zurich lies the Hans Erismann Distillery, known for its liqueurs, brandies, and grappas. Anyone with a fruit tree in their garden can even have their own schnapps distilled. However, in this case, fermenting and mashing ripe fruit is not the focus: the ZH Züri Gin Winter Edition is all about maceration. Aromatically, it evokes orchards and spices; locally harvested fruits and berries are combined with the typical gin botanicals. The high-proof liquids obtained through separate maceration and distillation are blended after a short resting period and diluted with spring water to 45%. Each bottle is individually labeled.
