Gin description
Amato means more than "the beloved" - it reflects the spirit and intention of our product, which was developed out of love for gin, tradition and craftsmanship. In order to live up to its name, our gin is made according to a unique and lovingly composed recipe, which contains only selected ingredients spread throughout the region. We are convinced that the first Wiesbaden Mediterranean Dry Gin can only achieve its quality thanks to the perfect balance between its ingredients and the loving manual work of small series production. For this reason, we only produce a few hundred bottles at a time and create a lovingly handcrafted product in the age of industrially bottled gins. Amato Gin is developed, processed, marketed and distributed in the heart of Germany - the Rhine-Main region. In addition to classic herbs such as juniper, citrus and cilantro, the taste of Amato Gin is particularly characterized by hand-picked accents of fresh cucumber, tomato and quince. The spicy taste of thyme evolves towards a fine and subtle note during distillation. In order to optimally balance the taste balance of the freshly macerated plants, the alcohol content is reduced to 43.7% in the last step with fresh spring water.
