Cambridge Seasonal Gin - Spring/Summer 2022, Time and provenance distilled

Gin description

The hot and dry conditions of May 2022 preceded a drizzly June, and was followed by one of the hottest periods on record. At the distillery, a bountiful harvest of plants with early flowering patterns, and those prone to second flowering, were expertly blended to preserve the ephemerality of these seasons. A distinct ripeness is apparent on the nose with tropical fruit notes from pineapple weed, lifted by the perfumed, floral notes of hawthorn blossom. Elegant on the palate with a restrained fruit expression from flowering redcurrant and supple citrus from lemon balm provides an extended and graceful finish.
