Citadelle Gin Juniper Décadence is a tribute to the junipers that grow naturally in our Charentes terroir and those that we cultivate opposite the Château de Bonbonnet. An ode to historical practices, which consisted in aging gin undergrowth, we innovated and chose a juniper wood to immerse our original signature of 19 botanicals for a month. The smoked wood amplifies the fresh and herbaceous notes of our original recipe. For a flavor worthy of this 25th anniversary, we have designed rare small barrels with a capacity of 100L. Silky and oily with a bittersweet and smoky profile on juniper, pepper, coconut, ginger and nutmeg. Camphor, angelica, cinnamon, anise, liquorice, cypress and celery become more and more present during the tasting.
