Gin description
Earl Gray Gin thanks her full taste to the small-scale distillation in the potstill of The Small Distillery. Earl Gray Gin uses 16 different herbs and spices combined with a unique production method. The result is a delicious soft gin with a full taste. Earl Gray Gin combines the dry astringent of Earl Gray tea, the fresh fruity flavors of citrus fruits, and the spicy character of juniper berries. The Earl Gray Gin is created by a unique production method, distilling in two parts to achieve the desired taste profile. First, a gin distillation is carried out with herbs in the boiler itself and a flavor filled with Earl Gray tea and citrus shells in the steam bath. From this distillation a gin is collected with an alcohol percentage of about 70% alcohol. Then black tea is distilled separately in water to maintain the fresh taste of fresh tea. With this theewater, the Gin of the first distillation roll is diluted to an alcohol content of 40% by volume. Because not only pure water is used for this dilution, the Earl Gray Gin falls into the category "Distilled Gin".
