Ginderella Barrel Aged 2018 Four Roses

Gin description

After a successful experiment with a Laphroaig quarter cask in 2017, the Heyneman brothers decided to layer their Ginderella gin on a Four Roses Bourbon quarter cask in 2018. The result is a fresh, barrel aged gin in which the green character of the 3 indigenous weeds and 3 invasive exotics remains intact against the oak that provides a pleasant touch. The floral character of the Four Roses Bourbon ensures an interesting and balanced flavor development of the fresh-spicy Ginderella, which also reveals notes of apple in this version.
