Gin description
Three times is right. With Ginger, his third gin in as many years, Frederik Van Duüren proves that he is more than a one gin wonder. After opting for sea buckthorn for the floral Duin Gin and bay leaf for the spicy Ginger, he set to work with the fine peppery taste of the galanga root to create Ginger. This distinctive gin makes full use of the flavor aromas of this ginger variety of Indonesian origin and combines it very nicely with the high citrus notes of lemon thyme. The dryness of the angelica provides the foundation in this three-distilled London Dry Gin and the fresh anise sprigs of cardamom provide depth. The slightly creamy mouthfeel keeps the alcohol strength of 49% in check so that the different flavors come into their own perfectly. From the fresh onset, over the full flavor development, to the long spicy aftertaste, this Ginger continues to captivate and charm.
